The Magic of #FWCon – The Food Wine Conference

I’m so grateful to have experienced the magic of #FWCon – The Food Wine Conference –  in sunny Orlando, FL this month.  As a new blogger I’ve attended a lot of blogging conferences over the past year. In fact, I made a friend at one of these who introduced me to the Sunday Supper Movement. That in turn led me to this virtual family that I meet with every Sunday.IMG_7109Each conference I’ve attended has taught me so much. There is a certain magic that happens when you gather together a group of people who are passionate about what they do. I must say that #FWCon was the most magical of all the conferences I’ve experienced this year. What sets it apart from the rest? It’s a mix of amazing people, approachable brands, and our fearless leader, Isabel, who waves her magic wand over everything. This mix created the most loving and supportive gathering I’ve witnessed in the world of blogging.IMG_7034From the family that gathers around the Sunday Supper Table to the brands who align with us, it was amazing event. I have never been to a blogging conference where the brands have introduced themselves in such a meaningful way.IMG_7046I had the privilege of spending time with Janice Mondavi of CK Mondavi  experiencing firsthand her warmth and passion. When I see the Sunday Supper Events sponsored by Cabot Creamery, Certified Angus Beef  and Idaho Potatoes, Florida Dairy Farmers, Florida Strawberry Growers Association,  I will follow along and smile, remembering the people who make the brands so special.
IMG_7015I learned so much from the presenters who gave so generously of their knowledge. From Donatella Arpaia who opened #FWCon encouraging us to make the most of our talents to Emily Ellyn who brought her vibrancy to the #Hashed Competition and all of the other talented speakers, I’m still reveling in how much of their wisdom I took home with me.IMG_8703Above all I’m grateful to have been a Brand Ambassador for Happylicious by Betsy. Betsy was right up there on my list to meet and it was an honor to be able to work with her.12374884_1230422180308495_1689664373854749116_oMany thanks to Isabel and the amazing Sunday Supper Family for creating this event. I’m so grateful to have experienced the magic and I look forward to more next year!IMG_7044Sunday Supper provided me with the opportunity to promote the conference as a Brand Ambassador in exchange for a discount on admission and a credit for any referrals. All opinions you read are mine alone.IMG_7004IMG_7058

I loved every minute of the conference and look forward to attending next year. It is so nice to learn, meet new friends and see old friend. Of course, the food and wine didn’t hurt any either!
