I’ll show you how.signmeupCan you feel it?

Thanksgiving – and the holiday season – is just around the corner!

If you’re anything like me, you’re gearing up for two months’ worth of magical memories.

This season is filled with the best of life, isn’t it? The scents of delicious turkey roasting in the oven, evergreen trees and baking cookies, the beautiful tree decked out with lights and ornaments, and the warm and cozy family gatherings. (Can you hear the holiday music playing softly in the background already?)

At least, that’s how you envision it.

Then you hear that lovely holiday music screeching to a halt as you remember:

  • The pressure and responsibility you feel when it comes to making the holidays perfect for everyone else.
  • The family drama and related guilt you have to navigate as you try to include everyone and work around dozens of schedules and obligations.
  • The exhaustion you feel as you strive to make every moment magical for every person attending every event.
  • The stress of making sure you have enough of the right food to feed your guests (some of whom you aren’t even sure will show up).
  • The worry around choosing the perfect gifts for the people you love

.… and POOF!

That Perfect Holiday Vision is gone.

For you, that holiday glitter is gone, and the season has lost its luster.

Sound familiar?

If so, you’re in exactly the right place. And you’re not alone. I’ve spoken with hundreds of people who feel the same.

I felt that way too, once upon a time.

The thing is, it’s not your fault you’ve begun to dread the holidays rather than look forward to them … or that you experience disappointment as you actually partake in the events you had anticipated with such enthusiasm.screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-11-55-17-amExpecting Perfection

Thanks to magazines, TV commercials, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram and a busier-than-ever society, we have such high expectations for ourselves.

Everyone is hosting a magazine-worthy party, giving elaborate gifts, and attending all the finest events.

We’ve come to expect Pinterest-Perfect!

Let’s work on that, right now.

The first thing to do is erase the word “perfect” from your vocabulary. The problem with perfection is that it’s unobtainable. And if you have your sights set on having the perfect holiday, you’re destined to be disappointed. (Remind me to tell you sometime about the time I left the standing rib roast out on the counter overnight!)

You probably realize on some level that perfection is not the real treasure of the holidays.

So what is?

The warmth and love of family and friends in a setting that reflects the beauty of the season.

Now, What If I Told You I Could Help You Create a Holiday Season That Brings Back All the JOY of Seasons Past … That Allows You to Create Your Own Brand of Jubilant Holidays … While Loving Every Moment of It?

I CAN!Before I give you the details, I’d like to tell you a bit about my own holiday experiences, so you know that not only have I been in your shoes, but that I’ve found a new way to enjoy every aspect of the season._18a0255My Own Journey

I’m Monica Maloney Heidler, the blogger behind Monica’s Table, where I share inspiration for creating incredible meals and meaningful gatherings with those you love.

I always found the holidays truly blissful. I loved our family traditions: baking cookies, opening gifts on Christmas day, enjoying family meals together.

After I moved out of the house and my family started to blend (my brothers got married and we were spread out geographically), things changed. My parents and I craved our traditional holiday activities, but my sisters-in-law had other ideas.

I’d always loved the holidays, yes. But at this point, I started to feel out of control, pushed around, and upset.

Then something occurred to me: I lived in a different town from my brothers and I didn’t have to travel to them and participate in the chaos.

I began to celebrate with my parents, local family, and friends. This became such a blessing, and I realized I could create my own holiday season without being sucked into the drama.

Then I got married.

My husband, Steve, had four grown children. He’d always struggled over the holidays. Since Steve was divorced, his kids had to fit into their schedules time with their dad, their mom, their significant others’ families … and then, they had children!

I did my best to accommodate them.

Then, one Thanksgiving, Steve’s daughter called and UNinvited us to dinner. Her mom was going to go, instead.

My feelings were across the board. I was angry, confused, overwhelmed, and stressed. I felt inadequate.

Then I had to deal with Steve’s depression … it was awful.

Plus, I wanted everyone to be happy, but that desire ultimately led to my feeling like people were walking all over me.

I realized then that I had the power to make a change.

So I made a decision.screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-1-15-17-pm

screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-1-23-02-pmTaking Back My Power – and the Holidays

I decided that I would forge ahead and create a wonderful holiday with my husband, and any friends or family members who wanted to come.

I would take the holidays back, create a vision that worked for ME – with as many or as few of my extended family and friends who wanted to celebrate with us.

Fast forward: Today, we have a big Thanksgiving dinner with a few of Steve’s children and their families. Sometimes his daughter who lives in LA can make it back home with her husband, sometimes not. And sometimes, we celebrate the holiday on a different day completely, so that more of our family can be together.

We’ve established a new “normal” in the family: new traditions that work for us.

And the beautiful part?

These new traditions work for ME – the person orchestrating all the details!

I’ve made the holidays a time of joy once again because of one fundamental change: I took back control, didn’t accept the chaos, and decided the family WOULD love the holidays again.

Now, I want to help you do the very same thing.screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-1-15-34-pmIntroducing …

Reclaim the Magic, Ditch the Stress:

Proven Strategies for Loving the Holidays Again

I want you to enjoy yourself!

I want you to create meaningful memories and unforgettable days and nights with your family and friends. (I have a feeling that’s what you want, too.)

And we can start this together right now!

Here’s just a taste of what you learn when you enroll in Reclaim the Magic, Ditch the Stress:

Module 1: Getting Started – Introduction and Overview

We begin by talking about what you can expect from this course, the FB group, your weekly videos, and the variety of ways you can share your questions, concerns, and triumphs with me and your fellow participants.

The, we jump into the fun stuff! We’ll address the inner and outer aspects of the holidays: holiday stress, family drama, blended families, and those “perfect” gatherings you see in magazines, as well as how to choose happiness, how to take care of yourself, and how to get the support you need during this special season.

Module 2: Create Your Vision

Here, you’ll get out your magic wand and a glass of wine—and a pen and notebook—and detail your vision for this holiday season. Knowing exactly what you want is the first step toward creating a magical holiday season, and I’ll guide you in creating a vibrant vision on which to build your new, beautiful holiday experience.

Module 3: Christmas, Hanukkah, and the New Year

Again, we’ll start by creating your vision of your ideal holiday, so you can focus on making it the best one yet! I’ll show you how to schedule events, create menus and shopping lists, and add in some “you time” to ensure this is the happiest, healthiest holiday season so far.

Module 4: Reflections… Memories That Matter

No new plan is effective without time for reflection. Here, we’ll wrap things up by reflecting on what worked and what didn’t this holiday season, so you know how to plan for next year. This means you’ll have the tools and power to create the holiday of your dreams next year, too.

Right now, you may be thinking, “This sounds great, Monica, but HOW are we going to cover it all?”

First of all, I’d love for you to consider this an investment rather than a cost. You can expect a HUGE return in terms of reducing stress and overwhelm, saving time and energy, and enjoying the holidays in the way you most want to.

That being said, how much is it worth to you to have the tools and support you need to create those warm, special holiday experiences you crave?

How much is it worth to fall in love with the holidays again?

I believe it’s invaluable, especially when you consider that you can apply the tools and processes you learn here to just about any event planning, during any season, in the future.

That being said, would you pay $250 for it?

Would you pay $100?

Because this is a pilot program, I’m asking only $49.97 for what I believe is a holiday-changing course!

Plus, you make the investment at no risk, because you’re covered by my 60-day money-back guarantee: work the program, complete the Vision Sheets, and attend the webinars. So are you ready to enroll, or do you still have a few questions?

Q: There’s so much free information out there … how can I justify this expenditure?

A: Yes, there is a TON of free information out there! However, Reclaim the Magic, Ditch the Stress gives you the tools you need, all in one place, which saves you tons of time and energy when it comes to searching for solutions. Plus, you get lifetime access to a structured, supportive community to lean on and share ideas with, as you create the holiday season you’ve been imagining.

Q: This is such a busy couple of months. How can I justify spending time on something like this when I have so many other things to do?

A: Great question. When you have the tools I’m sharing in Reclaim the Magic, Ditch the Stress, you’ll actually find that you’re able to free up more time to do the things you want to do. Instead of feeling frantic and frenzied, you’ll feel in control. I’ve kept the modules short and to-the-point so you can go through them quickly and start implementing what you learn right away.

Q: I’d like to see what I’m buying before I take the leap. Do you offer excerpts?

A: Because you make this investment at no risk for 60 days, thanks to my money-back guarantee, I don’t offer previews or excerpts. However, you can head on over to my blog to learn more about me and how I teach.

Q: So much of what I’ve bought in the past turns out to be useless information. How do I know this won’t be the same?

A: As I mentioned earlier, I’ve established a successful blog as part of Monica’s Table. There, I’ve shared recipes, as well as valuable tips and strategies for planning events and gatherings to remember, without the stress. You can check it out to get an idea of what (and how) I teach in Reclaim the Magic, Ditch the Stress.

Some quick words of wisdom, now:

This program is for you ONLY if you’re ready to change the way you view—and do—the holidays! It’s for you only if you’re ready to create some new traditions, let some old ones go (not your favorite ones, of course), and embrace all that’s good about the holidays … while removing the rest.

This is NOT for you if you’re content being “over-busy” and set on creating “perfect” gatherings and events.

So, now are you ready?
