Happy New Year!

Another year has past us. It flies by, doesn’t it? So much has happened this past year at Monica’s Table and I’m so grateful for you – the community.

As we move into the New Year all of us look forward to our resolutions. What are your New Year’s Resolutions? I laid out my intentions thinking what we should gain this year. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you by creating a place where all feel welcome to pull up a seat at the table and share our experiences. Let’s have a cup of coffee, tea or even the glass of wine as we navigate the pitfalls of this digital age and really stay in touch with those we love. Cultivating and keeping those bonds and creating memories are so important. As we look back at the past year, how can we improve on that? Give it a kind glance, learn from whatever mistakes and look toward this next year with the confidence of learning what works for us and what doesn’t.

How are we going to do that? This year I will be offering a trip to Italy. Yes, you read that right. We are going to be focusing on the Art of Gathering in the best place ever – The Amalfi Coast. It is the most beautiful place the heart of celebrating food, friends and the table. We’ll be going there to experience the culture, traditions and “The Art of Gathering” with my adopted Italian Family! Keep an eye out later this month for information.

Yes, this year is all about what we will gain. The personal experiences to have and the memories we create. Other programs that I’m releasing are coming through the year: How to start a Dining Club, Designing an Outdoor Kitchen, Summer Classics and Innovations, etc.

Oh wow! I love your idea of a shared trip to Italy. My focus this year is to get my home and my life more organized. It seems like with our large family there is always something going on – always something to plan for – and organization is key.

I can’t wait to see what you are up to in 2016. I am super excited about the trip to Italy – it is a country that Big and I have on our bucket list. I also am interested in your outdoor kitchen space ideas. I would love to have something like this.
