Ingredients
- 1 lb. Fresh Strawberries, washed & dried
- ¼ cup Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- 1 Tablespoons Sugar + more to taste
- 1 Bottle of Prosecco, Chilled
Instructions
Take 6 of the nicest looking strawberries, slice them halfway so they will sit on the glass and set them aside for garnish. Stem and chop the remaining strawberries, then place them in a blender. Add the Grand Marnier, sugar and blend. Taste this. If more sugar is needed, then add a bit more until it suits your taste. Strain this mixture into a small pitcher.
Set out 6 champagne glasses. As your guests arrive, pour a tablespoon or two of the strawberry mixture in a glass, top with the Prosecco then add a strawberry to the rim of the glass for garnish. Enjoy!
Variation: You can mix a pitcher of the Mimosas by combining the strawberry puree and the Prosecco in a large pitcher. Just remember to stir before serving.
